The record dates The Raising of Lazarus after Rembrandt to 1890. Two titles in this catalogue name Rembrandt: this one and Head of an Angel, after Rembrandt, dated 1889. They fall in consecutive years and in consecutive periods of this site's chronology, which is where every copy after another painter in this catalogue falls except one, dated 1887.

What the record gives

The canvas measures 48.5 by 63 centimetres, a horizontal, and it is held by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, which holds thirteen of the eighty-four works dated 1890. The measured palette reads as yellow.
