The record dates Haystack under a Rainy Sky to 1890. The measured palette reads as green, yellow and turquoise. Turquoise is a dominant family in fourteen works out of 610 in this catalogue, three of them dated 1890. Three families in one measurement is itself uncommon; most entries here return one or two.
