A collection made entirely of late work
The record dates Landscape with Carriage and Train to 1890 and places it in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow. That collection holds five works in this catalogue, dated 1888, 1889 and 1890 — nothing from the Dutch or Paris years at all. Holdings assembled that way are useful to a chronological catalogue because they show which parts of the decade travelled.
