Otterlo's smallest late group

The record dates Landscape with Three Trees and a House to 1890 and places it in the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, which holds seventy-two works in this catalogue. Only seven of them are dated 1890, against sixteen dated 1885 and fifteen dated 1889. A large holding is not evenly distributed across the decade, and the shape of its distribution is itself a fact about how the corpus reached us.
